HYDRO POWER TO FINLAND 2022

City of Espoo and Turku chose OPhi ´s Octagon MPC for their new hydro power plants to control power production.  Octagon can handle a wide range of different kind of power sources and always produces top quality electricity for consumption.

POWER PLANT TO ENGLAND 2021

The small 450 kVA power plant  PowerGen to England. PowerGen uses aerosol waste gas as its power source. The plant produces electricity for the customer’s own needs and for sale to the grid. The customer is a prominent English waste management company with wide-ranging expertise and a long history, e.g. on the recycling of hazardous waste.

KARELIA UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES 2020

We delivered a mobile power storage unit to Karelia University. Its main feature is island grid functionality, which allows it to operate as an independent auxiliary power source.

SATAKUNTA PROVINCE CENTRAL HOSPITAL SOLAR POWER PLANT 2018

OPhi Technologies Ltd delivered the hospital a new solar power plant which was installed on the roof of a newbuilt extension wing. The solution consists of SoliTek polycrystalline solar panels with a 25-year production guarantee. The LCOE-model guarantees effortless production of renewable energy for the hospital’s needs.

PAIMIO MUNICIPALITY SOLAR POWER PLANT CHRISTMAS WEEK OF 2018

OPhi Technologies installed a solar power plant on the roof of Paimio Municipality combined town hall/library. The 65kWp plant has panel power warranty of 25 years. The panel manufacturer SoliTek is represented by OPhi and has over 30 years of manufacturing experience. The panels are manufactured in the EU.

KIRKKONUMMI SOLAR POWER INSTALLATION ON A GARAGE ROOF 2018

The garage roof of a private household received a new glossy layer when we installed a small-size solar power plant, which will help reduce the electricity bill of the adjacent dwelling. The installation was carried out using second hand but nigh unused glass-glass panels with extremely good retail price and remaining power production guarantee.

OPHI TECHNOLOGIES TAKING PART IN BUILDING THE FULLY ELECTRIC FERRY “ELLEN” 2018-2020

The E-Ferry is a project for the development of a fully electrical and thus zero-emission car/passenger ferry to minimize marine traffic greenhouse gas emissions, supported by the EU Horizon 2020 program.

OPhi Technologies designed, delivered and installed the control system of the energy transfer link between the vessel and shore-side. We also took part in designing and maintaining the automation system software. Ellen ferry started daily traffic operations on August 15th, 2019 and is currently serving the single longest electric ferry route.

ELEVATOR-CONVEYOR PROJECT 2017

OPhi Technologies designed and delivered a complete material handling system. The overall project was carried out on an extremely tight schedule, which saw several mid-project reiterations from the client’s side, partly due to its unique nature as a first of its kind. The end result lowered the operator’s costs while bringing more speed to overall process. The complete delivery consisted of concept design, mechanical, automation and electrical design, manufacturing and final installation.
